City Council Study Session
Calendar Date:
The John Day City Council will have a collaborative work session with the John Day Parks & Recreation District on February 8, 2019 from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the John Day Fire Hall (316 S. Canyon Boulevard). The purpose of this meeting is to review the City's Strategy for Growth, discuss recreation components related to the strategy, and for staff to receive guidance from the council on specific actions needed to prepare for upcoming public hearings. The City Council will also review technical memoranda prepared and site sketches by its consultants related to the Innovation Gateway area development plan.
All material reviewed and discussed during this study session is in draft form and is pre-decisional. No decisions will be made during this meeting.
The meeting is open to the public.
