The City of John Day and the John Day Urban Renewal District, County of Grant, State of Oregon, will hold budget meetings on Tuesday June 9, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. to discuss the budgets for fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 at the John Day Firehall at 316 S Canyon Blvd, John Day, Oregon.  These are public meetings where deliberation of the Budget Committee for both the city and URA will take place and a recommendation to City Council and the URA Board may be made.  A copy of the budget documents may be obtained by contacting City Hall at 541-575-0028 or cityofjohnday@johnday-or.gov or visiting the city website at cityofjohnday.com. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
